To celebrate Freddie Mercury's 78th birthday, Confiserie Zurcher invites you to a celebration in Montreux.

A birthday cake will be specially made for the occasion and will be offered to the population and to the fans of Freddie Mercury who came to celebrate the birthday of their idol.

Passionate by the magic of Queen, Salomé & Xavvv is a sparkling Swiss musical duo.

Xavvv is a 15 years old talented pianist from Vevey. After three years of piano learning, he already shares his talent for lots of public and private events. Xavvv knows well the Freddie Celebration Days. In fact, it's his third time playing for the festival.

But this time, with a very talented singer : Salomé is a 5-octave vocal range brilliant singer-songwriter, trained in the HEMU Music University of Lausanne and at The Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles.

She’s been performing around the globe at various concerts and festivals such as Caprices, Montreux Jazz Festival and recently gave concerts in Zanzibar, the island where Freddie Mercury was born, where she lived for few months and which inspired her to compose songs for her upcoming debut album, some of which she'll sing as well as covers of Queen's most celebrated songs for the Freddie Celebration Days.

The Belgian band Mother Mercury will be giving an exclusive acoustic concert on the Place du Marché - Lake Stage.

This will serve as a warm-up for their evening performance on the main stage.

These 5 dancers have travelled the length and breadth of France to take part in a number of training courses and competitions.

Triple bronze medallists and gold medallists at the Rencontres Chorégraphiques Nationales, they'll be on stage to put on a crazy show!

After the guitar magician David Oz who hosted the karaoke last year, it's the turn of the Swiss cover band LORD OF QUEEN to deliver the moment you all love: Singing Queen's hits accompanied by live musicians! Get ready with your microphones, we're expecting you to set the Place du Marché on fire!

The Mercury Phoenix Trust and Montreux Celebration are joining forces for a unique Freddie festival moment! 

Come down to the Freddie statue by the lake on Saturday, 7th September at 6PM to be part of the photo call, and THEN, for all those attending the Official Freddie Mercury Birthday Party, there will be a musical march leaving at 6:15 PM in full carnival mode back up to the casino... all accompanied by The Band of Queen - Street Rock band! So, whether you are partying at the casino or celebrating in the market square for the Queen Silent Disco, come and be part of the fun and come dressed up in the name and style of Freddie Mercury!

In Montreux, right next to the Freddie Mercury statue, in a friendly space, surrounded by Queen fans from all over the world, several DJ's will play in front of you on several independent channels, each one in a different style.

Of course, one channel will be entirely dedicated to Queen's greatest hits.

Each participant will be equipped with wireless headphones. An integrated button on the headphones will allow you to switch between the different sound atmospheres proposed by the DJs as well as to adapt the volume at your convenience.

Advance booking is highly recommended and guarantees the availability of headphones, whatever your arrival time.

The bar closes at 01:30 and the evening ends at 02:00.
