The Montreux Jazz Club offers Stravinski ticket holders the chance to enjoy acoustic sets and jam sessions to end a perfect day of music. The artists appearing include Mohair, the musicians of Erykah Badu and Joe Sample.

The "Sceène Bleu" is renamed to "Montreux Jazz Young Planet" with the help of the young people of Montreux.

The workshops and Master Classes are all a great success! The Piano Solo Competition was won by marius vernescu from Romania. Soweto Kinch of the UK overcame all other competitiors to win the International Sax Competition. The Thinh Nguyen Quartet from Bern take the Montreux Jazz Chrysler award.
