The Golden Rose Festival (Rose d'Or, draws the best of the year's new entertainment and television programming.
It also boasts the most important business rendezvous platform for the onscreen entertainment community from all over the world and it's goal has always been to reward originality, quality and creativity in entertainment programming

Launched in 1961, this event, held annually in Montreux, was organized by the Swiss televison "Télévision Suisse Romande" (TSR).

After 43 years of presence in Montreux, the Festival has unfortunately left the shores of Lac Geneva in 2003 for Lucerne.

During this period, and more precisely from 1969 to 1974, in order to entertain their guests in the evening, different concerts and galas were organized either in the Casino or in the Pavillon buildings. Discover the large amount of rock, pop, blues and variety bands who performed in Montreux in those days.
