Peter Freestone was Freddie’s friend and personal assistant for 12 years.

The friendship between Freddie and Peter started the day he began working for Queen, in November 1979, and the assistant job started in 1980.

Peter accompanied Freddie Mercury until his decease in 1991, travelling with him all over the world, very often to Montreux (for the first time in 1981).

Peter (or Phoebe, as Freddie used to call him) is part of the montreuxmusic association since 3 years, giving his time and all his enormous knowledge in order to make out of this event a special one! His presence and his kindness are very much appreciated by everyone.
