On Saturday, November 21st 2009, Montserrat Caballé will be singing, with her accompanist Manuel Burgueras, a Christmas Recital for the first time in Montreux.

It has taken numerous years for montreuxmusic to bring her back to the place where she unveiled the statue of Freddie, nearly to the day, 13 years ago! Montserrat will be singing a selection of arias and songs by well known composers, including Donizetti, Bizet and Leoncavallo. The second part will be dedicated to Spain and Christmas.

Every fan of the Barcelona album should hear Freddie’s Diva singing live…!

It apprears that some people, not speaking french, have got some difficulties to book their Montserrat Caballé's RECITAL tickets online. If this is your case please read below :

If you have got some difficulties to book the Montserrat Caballé's RECITAL tickets online please follow those instructions :
1) go to http://www.saisonculturelle.ch/programme
2) On the 5th ligne you have the Montserrat Caballé Recital. Clic on "Acheter" on the right side.
3) Then clic on CAT to choose the category of ticket price you want. If you want the sFr 90.-- category you clic on the grey basket next to 90.-- if you want the sFr 70.-- category you click on the grey basket next to 70.-- and same for the 50.-- category of course. (sFr is Swiss francs. It can be written sFr or CHF)
4) Then in the middle of the screen you have "quantité" and underneath you find a square with 1 . If you want one ticket then leave it like this. If you want two tickets then, press on the left button of your mouse and pass over the 1 and replace it by 2. (If you want 3 tickets replace by 3 etc etc) Then clic on the "mettre à jour panier" on the bottom right. Then check once more that you have the correct amount of tickets in the "quantité" space. The total cost will be mentioned (example Sfr. 188.-- if you choose the best tickets including 18.-- postage). Now you clic on "passer la commande" (the rose color field on the left side)
5) Enter your name, surname, address etc. when you get to "pays" choose your country "Hollande" is Holland in french, "Royaume Uni" is England, "Allemagne" is Germany etc etc. You must fill up ALL fields. You may write something personal in the "commentaire" section if you want and you must clic "J'accepte les conditions générales telles que présentées" in order to go ahead.
6) then you come to the order page which includes postage charges to send the tickets to your country. Then clic "procéder au paiement". You will get to the secured page payment where you can give your credit card etc information.
 
If it does not work at some stage of this process it means that your computer might have a "POP UP" security for viruses and does not allow you to go on a secured website. We had a few people having this kind of problem. Am Samstag, den 21. November 2009 wird Montserrat Caballé, begleitet von ihrem treuen Pianisten Manuel Burgueras, in Montreux zum ersten Mal ein Weihnachtsrecital singen.
Es hat viele Jahre gebraucht, bis montreuxmusic es endlich geschafft hat, die Primadonna hierher zu bringen, wo sie vor fast genau 13 Jahren die Statue Freddies enthüllt hat!
Montserrat wird eine Auswahl an Arien und bekannter Lieder der Komponisten Donizetti, Bizet und Leoncavallo singen. Der zweite Teil des Abends ist Spanien und Weihnachten gewidmet.
Keiner der Fans des Albums „Barcelona“ sollte diese Gelegenheit verpassen, „Freddies Diva“ live auf der Bühne zu erleben…!

Per Montreuxmusic ci sono voluti molti anni per riportare la cantante nel luogo dove ha inaugurato la statua di Freddie 13 anni fa.
Monserrat canterà molte arie e canzoni di famosissimi compositori come Donizetti, Bizet e Leoncavallo. La seconda parte verrà dedicata alla Spagna e al Natale.
