It's nearly time for the FREE Freddie Mercury's Montreux Memorial Day. These couple of days should be fun! There will be a 'first' with one of the bands at the NED, and also a competition for the first time!
One of the reasons it is free this year is, as many of you know, because it will be the last one in this format, and we wanted to say thank you for all your support over the years. This does NOT mean this is the last event to take place here in this wonderful town. We have started with the 'Montserrat Weekend' in November, and we are already talking about a couple of things for next year and 2011!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all, new friends and old, at the Statue of Freddie in the Market Place on the morning of 5th September!!

Time flies!! The last details are being sorted out for this years Freddie Mercury's Montreux Memorial Day ! While it might be a bit shorter than previous editions, we think it will still be interesting, both for frequent visitors, and for first-timers alike. Also we are putting the finishing touches to the 'Montserrat weekend' in November, the Christmas Recital at the Stravinsky and especially the 'Private Audience with Montserrat ' on the early Sunday afternoon November 22nd.
