Hello to all Freddie fans,

Due to Montreux being full of racing cars, and the centre of the town being made inaccessible on the weekend 7-9 September 2012, we have had to change the date of the 10th Freddie Mercury’s Montreux Memorial Day to 31 August-2 September.
We have given this information as soon as we received it, and hope it is in plenty of time for you to make your reservations.
Looking forward to welcoming and seeing you all in Montreux!

2012: The year of changes

After 10 years of volunteer work dedicated to Freddie Mercury and all the events that took place around this artist, I decided to devote myself also to other rock / jazz / pop musicians or bands who have made Montreux famous for their coming, concerts or recordings. I announce to all of you that I withdraw from the  montreuxmusic Association founded with Rita Balesi and Peter Freestone. These two people will continue to perpetuate the image of Freddie Mercury in Montreux. I take this opportunity to thank you all for the support and pleasure you have given to me during those 10 years and I wish you my best wishes for the New Year.
